Confidence Didn’t Change My Life. Self-Trust Did.

For a long time, I thought confidence was the goal.

If I could just feel more confident, I’d show up more, sell more easily and stop second-guessing everything.

So I chased it through mindset work, visibility challenges and personal development rabbit holes.

Sometimes it worked, but most of the time, it faded out.

What I finally realized is, confidence is unstable.

It goes up when things go well and it disappears the moment something doesn’t.

Maybe you post something and hear crickets…or you get a weird troll comment. Maybe a launch that doesn’t pop (been there.)

Confidence asks: “Am I doing okay right now?”

But self-trust asks a better question.

“Can I handle myself no matter what happens?”

This shift in thinking really changed everything for me.

Self-trust shows up in small, boring ways.

Like posting even when you feel off, keeping your word to yourself and not spiraling when something flops.
